Loading and discharge

We support cargo movements between the quay and vessel, with the sequence of work planned around the cargo, vessel and receiving arrangements.

Handling arrangements

Cargo weights, dimensions, packaging and lifting points guide the handling plan. Equipment and personnel responsibilities are specified before work begins.

Shore-side coordination

We coordinate the agreed interfaces between the vessel, quay, receiving transport and storage operations, including cargo readiness and handover points.

What you receive

An agreed handling plan, coordination of the assigned activities and operational records required by the client. The proposal identifies equipment provision, access and any permit responsibilities.

Does this include container-terminal operations?

Our stevedoring service focuses on non-containerised cargo. For container handling, describe the terminal and activity so that we can check the available arrangements.

Is lifting equipment included?

The quotation states which equipment is included and which party provides it.

Can GLC also supervise the cargo?

Yes, supervision can be discussed alongside handling. Where separate observations are required, the roles and reporting arrangements are defined in the proposal.
